Explain How Electricity Works....?

This is a question I ask alot of people, because funnierly enough people either, don't understand, or find it very hard to explain. So heres your chance to shine, and explain the theroy of electricity, and how AC circuits work. Please no silly short answers, thats replies with no answers to the question above thankyou for you co-operation

At the simplest level, you always have the source of electricity (a battery, etc.), a load (a light bulb, motor, etc.), and two wires to carry electricity between the battery and the load. Electrons move from the source, through the load and back to the source.
