Extending and reposition of existing circuits.

Need to reroute existing cooker cable.
Need to extend existing ring main in kitchen.
Customer has a 6way Wylex with plug in MCB's
Do i now need to provide RCD protection for these changes? Thanks.

Only if you're adding new sockets or burying cable in the wall (without suitable mechanical protection).
