Hi all can anyone recommend and decent external 24v led tape please . The length is the issue I think at around 10.5 metres ish.
Supply from 1m flex (fused spurr) I think the current might be an issue with only small cable in place ( ie a1mm flex going to tape transformer ) ??? 2x 5m reels at 24v come out about 14.4w pm x10 /24- 6amps ?
Is this correct any help appreciated ??? Thankyou

You will have to feed both ends of the tape or you will clearly notice the voltage drop with the LEDs getting dimmer along the full length on anything over approx 6m

There are different types of tape with a different amount of LEDs per metre so you will have to choose what sort of light you want and work out the load based on LEDs/metre x 10.5m. All tape will tell you the spec of amount per metre and ma per LED and then you should work out your total load and choose a suitable driver

Yeh thanks for that ? there's no option to feed the tape from both sides unfortunately and can only be fed from the drivers location ie at the start . Was thinking what I could do is increase the tails on the 2nd tape to reach the driver and sit them tails hopefully neatly within the aluminium profile .......
