In order to be extraneous it must introduce a potential, normally earth, just being outside does not make it extraneous. The 18th does not need to mention equipotential zones, the whole point of bonding is to create a zone of equal potential. If a person is stood in the open entrance with one foot on the concrete floor and one foot on the earth outside, there cannot be a zone of equal potential, bonding the shed will increase the shock risk.No mention of the equipotential zone in the 18 th,the shed is extraneous cause it’s outside, but is it an extraneous conductive part.
