Hello, I'm having this issue with an outlet. When I plug in my macbook air charger to it the charging status alternates rapidly between plugged in/ not plugged in. I know the MacBook and charger are not faulty as it charges fine in my other outlets. I am wondering why the electricity seems to be going on and off within the outlet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

As @telectrix said you have a loose connection in the receptacle. Probably a receptacle that has back stabs. Just get it replaced
