My favourite film? There is so many but, unfortunately, none on the Terminator films feature on the agenda :(

I like films that relate to:

Greek Mythology because I find Greek mythology very interesting:
Gladiator
Troy
300

Fantasy as they remind me of my childhood (Aaaaaah).
Pans Labyrinth
Labyrinth
Dark Crystal

Horror & Sci-Fi:
Blade (Quite an original take on the vampire genre)
Interview With The Vampire (A good film, basically)
Matrix (Was a very original concept but others were mediocre in comparison)

Drama:
Shawshank Redemption
Green Mile
Forrest Gump

Comedy:
Old Skool
Zoolander

Underworld and Underworld Evolution?

Yeah, seen them. Love those types of films, has to be a REALLY bad film for me not to like it (30 Days of Night, that is *).

As for college Paul, that's a whole new thread for me to start tomorrow, still toying with the title (2330 According to Bane, or 2330 Banes Interpretation or What I Learnt Today/Bane Goes To College)

Thanks Rum my old buddy. I'll tell teacher, don't you worry!

Kate Beckinsale I think. Also in Van Helsing, another cracking film!

(See what I mean, you can't possibly list of the films you like, you don't even remember half of them until someone says something that reminds you of the title)

Remember him in Cracker? As the scouse fan who loses it after Hillsborough?
"L-I-V-E-R-P-Double O-L.... Liverpool FC"

What's his name now? Robert Carlyle?

I hate it when you remember a 'Great' film that you haven't seen for years, then you watch that film again and... It's *.

Happened recently with me, the film, Company Of Wolves. Absolute ---- but when I watched it years ago, thought it was briliiant....

Anyway, a film I seem to remember being good but again, not seen for years.

Escape From Sobibor

Just wound up the clockwork computer and got onto this thread. As you read it, like Bane says, you think of other films and you end up with a hell of a list.

Thoughts so far.

The Good, the Bad, the Ugly. (me bane and cirrus)
The Quiet Man (Shakey)
All the President's Men (mdshunk)
Lawrence of Arabia (Just a great film)
Schindler's List
Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
High Plains Drifter
The Unforgiven
Easy Rider
MASH

Getting nostalgic now think I'll get the old videos out.

Will post some more a bit later on.

You know Monty, I didn't like that film.

Was really looking forward to it but if you ask me, DeNiro and Pacino just totally overact in it.

Especially that scene where they are face to face and Pacino is telling DeNiro how he's going to put him away and then DeNiro starts waffling **** about how "I wont hesitate, not for a second" or whatever.

At that point I didn't hesitate either.

....To turn off my dvd player

Ah yes, the ancient art of sipocoo (dont know if that's how you spell it).

Personally I feel Bob gave one of his best performances there.

Some of the irish accents were a bit dodgy though.

Agree 100% there:D

Have to say tho, that car chase was nothing short of breathtaking in the M5 BMW.

All done in real time as well and no camera trickery.

Hats off to the French stunt drivers i say.

They modded a couple of cars so that the steering wheel that Bob used was a pretend one with the stunt driver driving in the other seat.

In one scene you can see the look of absolute terror on Bob's face:D
