Favourite car chases in a film or TV show

Sitting there watching The Transporter last night set me wondering which film has the best car chase, my moneys on Ronin or perhaps the Love Bug, what's your favourite?

Another vote for Ronin, there's not even any heart-thumping background music until half-way thru the chase.

Not really a chase as such , but the bike scene in the Great Escape took some beating in my opinion .

That is simply the best car chase ever by far!

Bullitt is by far the best, but I also like the one in ‘Golden Eye’when James Bond is chasing the baddies in a Russian Tank.
‘Puppet on a chain’ also has a cracking chase, but doesn’t really count as it’s boat chase!

Agree.... Just for sheer number of cars getting trashed.
