I know what an LC connector is - a newer version of the optical audio out connector in the back of my telly.
AFAIK though, it's not like crimping on a Rj45. The last time I saw someone joining fibre, it involved a stereo microscope type tool with vernier adjusters to line it up perfectly.

@James hi I asked my mate and he can't do it unfortunately but he has said he may have a contact if you still need one, he is going to get in touch with him over the weekend.
