Have to move fire alarm break glass , don't know if enough length on cable,

do I have to use steel enclosure for connections if extending?

if I buy new surface break glass unit does it have to be same type, is there different types?

James Stuart panel, must be 20 years + since I`ve seen on of those......You will also need to protect the cable drop to the call point, any standard 470 ohm call point will work...As above galv 20mm trough box to terminate with crimps
