Lads on my system fit application i didnt invoice myself!! i just put proof of ownership in letter form on my headed paper but they want invoice!! what do you consider proof of ownership!!

You may get away with proof that you bought the panels - this satisfies some suppliers.

Well unless Powervan knows something about that 100k of panels that went missing he's had to pay something for his. That's how much you invoice for .... have I missed something?

The amount on the invoice is irrelevant - it can be blanked out it you want. But it should say 'paid in full'.

thanks lads!! just wanted all your thoughts as just had conversation with edf on it! my system at my address i said amount is not required as ive not invoiced myself? ie dont want make up invoice as could be deemed fraud! so i will put £0

Well, from the tax point of view if you are a company, you should be invoicing yourself at least at the marginal cost if you do not want it to be taxed as a benefit on you.

But as Ted says, the rules allow the amount to be blanked out for commercial confidentiality reasons.
