I'm fitting a cooker hood which has a stainless steel telescopic outer chimney cover. The problem I have is that the top bracket needs to be screwed to the wall where it meets the ceiling and there are cables behind the plaster board at that point. I occurred to me the i could grip fix it as it doesn't support anything. I'm sure this is a common problem that is encountered quite often. What is the normal get around for this?
