Do people have fixed prices for EICR's and second consumer unit prices?

I am asking from the point of view of Rental agencies who want to simplify it for their LL

I have always put it as a approx price of £20-£25 per circuit and not a fixed price per building and or additional consumer units.

Thank you in Advance

Chris

Company that i worked for charged a fixed amount per building. Building with 6 way con-unit would be x amount. Building with 4 x 6 way con-units would still cost x amount. Building with 20+ ways DB still cost x amount. Did they ever make a profit? Don't know, they went bust (only joking, they still going).
I would of thought.. x amount per circuit would be the best way to go.

I was once approached by an estate agent to do pirs on houses they were selling.
Pir was to be done for whoever it was that was interested in the property and if they bought it I was to invoice them, the buyer.
No ta mate!

Yes they do, and unfortunately it is for peanuts, I have seen prices of 45 quid to do a EICR on a 3 bedroom semi before, if you are a proper electrician who actually does the job correctly you will need to give them an hourly rate and tell them a estimated but not set in stone time, it will take the best part of a day to test a 8 way board and the circuits connnected to it properly, I very much doubt it could be done much quicker unless corners are cut.

I charge £10 per circuit, floor & room. A 3 bed semi with 8 circuits, single bathroom, separate diner & lounge & say a garage with power would be approx £180.00.
