yesterday went to look at a kitchen that had been installed by a wren kitchen installer ,problem was there spark installed 25mm deep back boxes then half way thru squeezing the sockets and faceplates on realised the boxes were to small and left them all unfinished ......what a nightmare had to take boxes out new plasterwork and install deeper boxes ,cant beleive there are guys like this going about

Stick around here, you'll find them starting pointless threads.

it's them pesky flat plate things. the socket guts are deeper than normal so 25mm back boxes are too shallow.

I hate screwless plates with a passion. Yes, they look great - the first time you pop them on. Take them off again for any reason and you can never get them to pop back in again quite right, they just distort and mis-shape.
