Hi Chaps thinking of putting in for a part P scheme and seen a Fluke 1651 advertised for £180 out of calibration is it suitable? Decent how much does calibration cost and how long does it last?

I have a 1651 and love it! It gets bashed about and abused!

Perfectly suitable for all domestic work, try to knock them down and a bargain will be yours!!!

Down side is no ramp test or auto rcd but not a major issue as these are just nice to haves !

Make sure all the leeds are present and in good condition as they are expensive to replace.

My calibration was £100 for 2 testers and the guy came to my office, lasts for 1 year.

Thanks I have heard you can send them away for £37.50 to be done, I'll check which leads are included Which ones come as standard? is it just 2?

Set of 3 leads with crocks, then a plug style lead and also a red lead with its own button!

I would/will buy another

No crock clips in the pic either????

Will post picture of leads, the one with the button is for all tests, saves pressing the button on the fluke.

The red lead with the button is a remote test lead, if you plug it into the tester in place of the normal red lead you can push it to take your readings instead of using the button on the machine, very handy when you would normally need 3 hands. they dont come in the kit, they cost about £40
