Hey Guys,

I purchased a fluke 1652 and am waiting on delivery, I need it for a lot of things but one feature I need and am not sure if it has it is the volt drop feature on some flukes.

When you test a battery on start up or a generator for example some flukes will let you hold a V min (too see if the batt is knackered) or max does the 1652 have the option?

Another thing I am gutted about is the 1652 does not do earth resistance and with the prices of electrode testing meters it makes me physically sick......... but it does state that you can get the earth resistance another way in the users manual im sure but not sure if its the 1653!

with my opinion of fluke gear , it means if you drop it, it will read volts.

no no, it displays the voltage when u drop a load on the batt - no need to be a smart arse when u have no idea what your talking about

the drop lasts for milliseconds some flukes can hold the value for you, the 1652 doesnt even read DC

has nothing to do with regs fyi
