i have a fluke t120 voltage indicator that i only bought a month ago. if i test something that is still live it trips the RCD. is it supposed to do this or if not has anyone else had tis problem

A T120 is a voltage tester and that's all mate.What other settings have you got on your'snever had this problem and ive owned one for years now dont mean to sound stupid but have you got it set at the right setting ie volts when checking for voltage
