Recently I lost my Fluke T5-1000 tester and rather just replace it with the same I was wondering if it is worth paying the extra for the T6-1000?

Anyone used the T6?

I haven't but heard the only differences are the contactless voltage value function and higher current readings. A bit bulkier too.

I personally use the T5 600 as I'm a cheapskate. It does for my work.

Thanks for the response.

yeah I don’t get on any big jobs to get the full use of it, but if it was good accuracy that is a bonus, mainly for the amp setting really

The T6-1000 has a wider ohms range too, it will read to 100k. Workmate of mine got caught out with his T5-600, was reading open circuit on a relay coil that was ~1.8k resistance.
