Hi,

Actually, I am from india. My relative in USA (CA) sent me the Black&decker Food processor. For a few week, it was working fine. one day it stops working. it smells like it was burnt. I did some research and my idea in India the residential voltage is single phase 230V(L1& N). and in ca mostly is 120/240V single phase (L1, L2,& N). and the food processor required 120v that is only L1 and N.
my question is can the motor be repaired?

Could be rewound o the Indian spec, but cheaper to buy a new onw that is OK for Indian electrics
