when completing forms (eic for example) must the forms from your reg body be used, ie must a napit member use napit forms or can any eic be used from say copied from regs or using a tysoft programme etc??

As far as I am aware you can use any forms as long as they are to the BS7671. The forms at the back of your Regs book and there so you can photocopy them if you wish.

Obvoiusly if you are a member of a shceme, then it would probably benefit you using their company logo's etc as you have a membership number to add to the cert and why not show your a member you would have paid a silly membership fee for the privalige?

I don't think there are any ruling to say you must use the schemes certs. I was with NAPIT, but never used their own forms, however did display the logo's etc on the forms I used.

I know NICEIC have some green forms you can use whist going through their joining proceedure.

Hope this helps?
