Discuss Forward slash or back slash? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Honestly.... the guy needs to get a labeller... That looks soooo tacky..

A back slash is used in computer data structures so it leads to the next folder I believe in their context it has been used correctly, I also believe the OP needs to "get a life" ;o)))))

It's a fundamental question in life..... Like 'cheesecake or doughnuts'..... leave the OP alone...

Normal usage, one would expect to see forward slash /

Backslash is predominantly used as a Windows only filename/path delimiter, most other operating systems use forward slash just as in web addresses.
