Forward slash or back slash?

Just curious which people use and if there's a right or wrong way.

Back slashes are not recognised in English grammar but are common for computer coding.

A back slash is used in computer data structures so it leads to the next folder I believe in their context it has been used correctly, I also believe the OP needs to "get a life" ;o)))))

Normal usage, one would expect to see forward slash /

Backslash is predominantly used as a Windows only filename/path delimiter, most other operating systems use forward slash just as in web addresses.
