Foundation degree

Hello im just finishing the 2330 level 3 and have enrolled and been accepted on a foundation degree electrical.Has anyone done this course any feedback would be greatfull

That's a long route to a degree.You could have just done A level Maths and Physics in a year and gone straight on to Electrical Engineering

Hello thanks for the reply i have been in the electrical industry for 13 years, 3 years ago i decided to get electrically qualified and really enjoyed learning again and wanted to take it further.
With the choices of HNC or foundation degree for the level 4,i can find lots of info about the hnc but very little about the foundation degree.
seems as though foundation degree is a newish qualificaton

Foundation degrees have been out for about 10 years now.
If I had to choose I would just spend 1 year and do the HNC.It carries near as much weight as a degree to some employers

i still might do the hnc but unfortunatly will take 2 years part time(1 day a week)due to work commitments
