Hi Pete

I would always recommend registering your own domain name direct, that way you own the name and can tranfer to whoever is offering the best deal.

If you register through a scheme like this they own your domain name. FREE sounds good but what about the costs of dumping all your business cards letter heads taking web address of your van etc etc.

FREE these days is generally entrapment to a more expensive scheme if you take it over a 5 year period you will probably find a lot better elsewhere.

So be careful before you commint yourself

Chris

I used to do this for a living, before I got a proper job:)

Register your chosen name with Nominet for .co.uk suffix, I use 123reg

find your free website and mail people, I use 5quidhost

I have no commercial interest in either of these companies and only recommend them insofar as I choose to use them...

Chris.
