Ok guys, I'm sure not your usual points of interest. The fridge freezer?. It lives in the kitchen and the beer is stored inside it.

Well, ours packed in while we on holiday. 15 year old hotpoint, so not a bad run.

Looking at a Beko, as its in our price range. What are peoples thoughts?
We know what we want in colour, height, depth etc... its the build quality im looking at. Plenty of on site reviews on AO at 4+ stars out of 5, but because theyre all new buys, no one is commenting on how long it has lasted.

Anyone got a beko? had it for years? no problems?
Any other brands get a thumbs up?

Have a Beko Fridge Freezer, must be getting near to 8 years old now. Sister in Law also has a Beko Fridge Freezer which would be similar age. No problems with either.

had a beko fridge for 7 years, no probs.

That's what I wanted to hear. Cheers.
We bought all Hotpoint in our last house 15 years ago, and we've had to replace the washing machine and tumble dryer since.
They all came with us when we moved 11 years ago.
Apart from the dryer being one of the fire safety recall models, no issues with hotpoint. We just wanted to see what else was out there.

BEKO plc is a subsidiary of Arçelik A.S. established in 1955, Arçelik is one of the largest household appliance producers in Europe. It is also the leading home appliances brand in Turkey, offering extensive and innovative ranges of both home appliances and consumer electronics.

Got my Beko in 1998 from tempo, still going strong and keeping beer at a good temp, don’t think it’s that energy efficient but it still works

Happy with my Beko fridge, also washing machine which is the best I've ever had.
Mind you, my parents had a Fridgidaire fridge, the old-fashioned curved top American style, and they bought it in 1956...it was still going when they moved house in 1983.

You could get this one and watch the telly and other things on it.

Snip at 3 grand :)

3 grand. could have bought a decent van for that.

I sold my Matchless 500 in 1968 for £25. wish I'd not.

i paid £8 for it in 1966 with a double adult sidecar attached. this was stripped down to a 18" high open box. ( done by my dad while i was rebuilding the single cylinder lump.)

yep.and then had it nicked. and they call us Scousers thieves. We can't compete with them Cockney tea leaves.
