Discuss funding for testing course in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

as far as i know mate i think you have to be out of work for 13 weeks before you qualify for 'steps to work' . or tell them your from poland and they will put you to the top of the queue lol

if your unemployed and claiming
jsa or contribution based jsa (not national insurence only) or working tax credits then college courses are free

Hello Buddy

The goverment run a level 2 / 3 initiative, which basically mean they will cover the costs. When you fill the college application form in at the funding section you will se a box for the level 2 or level 3.

This is a purley honest based ticking, as they are not allowed to ask you to produce any level 2 qualifactions. And the same for Level 3

Sorry to hear about your situation, Not sure mate but there was definately an addvert on tv the other night about goverment courses to be a spark. All the best

cheers tiger, being a spark is not the problem, i am time served approved with the 16th. but thought while i was out of work i would get the 17th for free. well we paid enough in over the years.
