Is the garden room detached from the house? If so, how far from the consumer unit? Ideally, your electrician will run a separate circuit or possibly a sub main with a small consumer unit in the garden room. Involve your electrician from the start. If you offer to dig any trench required and backfill, you’ll be liked and save a few quid.
 
Get an electrician round when the build is underway to discuss your requirements.
The options may be limited to your existing wiring and consumer unit loading...
