are any of you guys using an on the go software that does diary and invoicing I think after over 10 years I might give it a try, my theory is I am trying to stop doing very small jobs and attract more slightly larger works, so if I completely organise myself for the little jobs then I will have no need for software as you always get the opposite of what you need in contracting. I don't know if it exists but I was hoping there was a software where you advance book the jobs into the live diary and then at the end of the week you can export diarised times into the invoice side of it.

I have often thought about the same. However I feel reluctant to put trade information on any online system. I have the philosophy of do not put anything online that you dont want others to know about. As you know even this forum is daily coping with hacking attempts. Having said that here is a link to such software. Best Billing and Invoicing Software | 2016 Reviews of the Most Popular Systems - http://www.capterra.com/billing-and-invoicing-software/ Again I always worry about getting hacked say by a rival. The same with submitting online notificiations to CPS scheme. Whats to stop them contacting customers when next inspection is due and offering their services. This is what stops me from going electronic. Instead I keep day sheets and try to keep as detailed as possible.
