I've posted on here several times about how I rate the Metrel kit as being good kit for decent money and I've got several different things to prove that, but lately I just seem to be having problem after problem with my 3002. First the software froze, got that sorted, then the front panel buttons went, got that sorted, now yesterday it's decided it doesn't want to work on RCD auto anymore. Its also developed the habit of rebooting on R1R2 continuity tests and has on occasions tripped an RCD on no-trip mode. Getting more than a little fed up and about to talk to Metrel about it, think I'll be demanding a new one as it's less than 3 years old and they so-say have a 3 year warranty.

Anyone else had any issues?

Well, just to set the record straight, Metrel have just been great on the phone. They couldn't promise to turn it around in the timeframe that I need as they're swamped at the moment with re-cals (apparently it's a seasonal thing?!) but instead have linked me up with one of their 3rd party repair agents and the lovely girls at Acutest are going to get me sorted in a quicker time. So in terms of customer service I can't fault them, though I do think I might be going back to Megger when I can justify the spend!

^^^ Nice try! Let's see who else can spot it!
