Went into the local Borders bookshop at the weekend picked up what I thought was the new GN3 based on 7671:2008 only to find it was a 7671:2001 version, they had at least 6 copies on the shelf.

had the same thing with christopher kitchers practical guide to inspection and testing book that i bought to help with my 2391 course.
says it complies with bs7671 and part p but its to the 16th and new 17th version not released til some time in october/november.:mad:
bought the book in july after 17th release date as well

anybody heard when the new GN3 is coming out?

well i was using the new GN3 for a 2391 course i taught, and that was before the 17th July exam, so its been around for while!

see they still chickened out on explaining how to evaluate voltage drop by measuring circuit impedance though.......

my new GN 3 arrived from amozon today, should make interesting reading:rolleyes: but still waiting for me OSG.:(

Good news PAUL M just had the e-mail from Amazon to say my OSG has been dispatched so I guess there will be a lot of excitement in both households when it lands on the mat!
