Can anyone tell me if there are grants for air to air source heat pumps. I have an community hall to price for and customer wants to go for air conditioning. I want to go for ASHP with fan assist heaters. Any ideas

Thanks

No government support, depends where you are though.

We have a number of local large corporates that have community energy saving funds, and have used those on a number of occassions to install air - air and PV on local community buildings, youth clubs, village halls, heritage properties etc.

ASHP with fan coils a lot more work to install and more costly, however there is the possibility of non-dom RHI for Air-Water only 2.54p / kWh of renewable heat, so needs metering as well, though it pays for 20 years, and if a private grant, it still qualifies. Lottery funding from any source is considered government grant so excludes you from FiT and RHI.
