Hello all would like your personal opinions on this,
at what point does the extent of electrical additions or alterations require the installation of kitchen and bathroom fans, and smoke and heat alarms if not already present?
or would you only install these in a full rewire or new installation?
thanks

The electrical instalation extent, whether small or large has little or no bearing on either the fan or smokes

The smokes are a recomendation for installation, unless new build or extension when they need to be installed to comply with the building regs
Ditto the fans, the electrical stallation has no bearing on whether a fan is required, building regs stipulate when or if they are req
