hi all

does any one know if there is a min length of cable which must be calculated for grouping

Ie
a drop of 500mm to a fuse board
a drop of 1000mm ect
and i read some were that these are for cables loaded 100% of the time so would these need calculating on a light bed room ring of lighting

500mm drop seems a bit excessive to me any comments

Grouping not normally used for domestic as it is very rare that all cables will be inuse at the same time, different set of circumstances in commercial situations.
