Morning all.

Does anyone in Fife have a tube bender and die cutter I can hire from them for 2 weeks in December?

Just seen the prices to buy and had to take blood pressure medication early ??

Ta

I have looked at hiring.

Roughly £150 per week for a bender and die kit. So. Approximately £75 more to buy one.

Just thinking to bung some drinking vouchers to a fellow sparks...,

Probably going down the buy route, you never know!

Keep an eye on Ebay , plenty olf Hilmor benders pop up for sale there
Seen a brand new EL32 on there a couple of days back for £250 or best offer, with 20, 25 & 32mm formers. Would have been sending a courier, but they're just about on the 30Kg limit for NI that most apply.

Edit: Here it is

Very very rarely do I get asked to install galv conduit these days , same with pyro , I don't carry any of the tools as standard so would need to make a special trip to my dads house to borrow his.

if I can get away with using swa or pvc conduit instead of galv I will do my best to avoid galv as above it would mean a special trip to borrow all the gear
