I’m about to rewire my house and I’m on the hunt for some recommendations.

I want some gu10 downlighters but unsure what to go for, having not installed any for about 7 years I’m not down with the current market.

I’m looking for something that’s compact, fire rated, decent terminals, changeable bezels, possibly adjustable and available in ip65 aswell.

what do you all recommend ?

To be honest I'd be going for a sealed LED cant recommend the Enlite/Aurora m6 pros enough, integrated plugs with lever type connectors, replaceable bezels, ip rated, fire rated around £14 plus the cost of the bezels and look very sleek. Though if you want a good gu10 you cant go wrong with Aurora no plug and no Changeable bezels as far as im aware unless the IP rated version.

for me it's JCC V50. IP65, dimmable 7watts, and selectable colour temp. warm white or cool white. only 50mm deep and can be covered in insulation. choice of bezels inc' in price. forum sponsor, electrical2go does them at a good price.

I saw the other thread but was concerned about the life span of fixed LED, didnt want to worry about having to replace a fitting a couple of years down the line and the same not being available, would you recommend them over a gu10 then?

every time. less hassle originally and only cost a tenner more for the fitting than a good quality GU10. also stopps mr.pillock customer fitting a halogen bulb.

Thanks @telectrix. The JCC V50 is our biggest selling integrated LED downlight. Very popular indeed.

@wrighty, depending on how compact you need the cans to be, the Enlite DLM981X & DLM982X might be worth a look. The 981X takes a standard bezel or IP rated one. The DLM982X takes an adjustable bezel.

I love that you have asked for a GU10 fitting and everything suggested so far is integrated units:tearsofjoy:

Ansell Edge would tick most of your boxes: GU10, Fire Rated, Gimbal version & IP65 version available. Changeable bezels, hmmm not really as they don't sell them separate. They do an insulation support bracket though
