earth loop is greater than 300 on 1 circuit its a spur and is the closest to the fuse board but when you do continuity its .10 which is high but there is a reading . why would this be ?any ideas

Some further question for clarity:

1/ Earth loop >300 what?
2/ continuity =.10 what?
3/ why is .10 too high?
4/ What colour is your fluke?

How did you measure the earth loop, how did you measure the cpc continuity? Both readings together don't make any sense. If you measured 300 Ohms for earth loop imedance that is far too high, continuity of 0.1 Ohm could be ok, pends how 'close' the sput is to the CU. i bet, since this is a spur ( spured off what) somewhere in the circuit is a load connected and you measure the load resistance as well. Were al pther circuits isolated when doing the tests?
