Hi all, I'm an ex Civil Servant who is retraining as a domestic installer. Currently doing City & Guilds level 3 and hoping to start up small business later.
I used to be in IT but moved into the "dark side" (management) before being made redundant, now looking to supplement CS pension with some "honest graft". Have always been interested in Electrics and the logical approach of fault finding appeals to me. Anyway that's my story, any tips on getting started in the trade would be welcome.

Hey Dave, immerse yourself in it and learn learn learn. Keep a theory book in the toilet if you take more than 27 seconds! Just saying!
