I am working on a bit of a redneck project. It wasn't until my registry was complete, that I noticed that this is primarily a UK group. I hope that I can find a person willing to help me locate the items needed for my project.

No offence, But just the words “redneck project” conjure up thoughts of cobbled together materials with no sense of design or thought.... bare wire carrying so much power, the grass is getting scorched around it....
All along to the sound of a lone banjo playing on the decking....

cant wait to see it in action!

Actually, my project may not be well received in your country. I was gifted a DeWalt box that a drill and impact was sold in. It was just large enough to hold my AR15 pistol. Once I got the foam and weapon to fit, I disassembled it, and painted it up in DeWalt colors. I have a friend that made me stickers to go on the side. I had an 18 volt battery that I gutted, and cut a hole in the top to fasten it to my magazine. It now looks more like a toy, than the real deal. My problem is, the 18 volt battery housing is too large to be able to store the magazine in the box with the weapon. The smaller size of the 20 volt will make it possible.
Since I know guns are not popular in your country, I felt hesitant to mention what I was doing. But since "rednecks" are often associated with guns, I went that route to explain what I was up to.

I see your point, brad.:D

We're not all "anti-guns" but personally I believe there should be more stringent rules on who can own them.
I live in a rural community and there are plenty farmers around here with guns... they just don't carry them around all the time.
In fact, one of my customers teaches shotgun shooting. Deer, game and clay pigeons.
