I personally don't want to be electrocuted at all. In American English, the term generally means to be killed by electricity, as opposed to merely shocked. But I have been hit by both AC and DC.

I wired an inverted bank that used two parallel sets of twenty four 12 V batteries in series for 240 V. I was squeezed between a wall and metal frame of the rack with the end cable in my hand. I was sweaty and the cable slid down so I tightened my grip like a dummy...

Well, I have been jolted by 120 V AC, 240 V AC, 277 V AC. BUT that 240 V DC was by far the worst. It wrenched my back and curled my arm. My partner saw it and pulled the disconnect pretty quick. I hobbled around for days...
