Hello Dan, Dave Luke and the mods

I'm new to enrolling on this site but have found some excellent advice and a comprehensive wealth of knowledge when I have trawled though in past months.

I am currently on my 2330 course at a local college and just passed another exam Hooray!

I have done a fair bit with electrical and elecronics over the years and am mainly involved in property maintenance. I have worked as a mate on and off.

I am sick of being Jack of all and master of none hence my desire to become qualified.

I hope to go on to my 2391 and am unsure abou whether to do an NVQ3. Im 35 years old and would like to stay self employed so is there any advantage inmy doing NVQ3?????

I would however like to be able to call myself a sparkie in the future so would an NVQ3 help me with that??

Best Regards

Hi Topcop

these mods and administrators just don't read the question :( ;)

I am in a similar position to you and am thinking that i will stop after c&g 2330 level 3 and not bother with the nvq, just do 2382 and join a competent person scheme. Maybe doing the 2391 at evening classes.

regards pushrod
