Hi Everyone

Been in the game 20 years, and seen plenty of changes over this period. Im qualified with all my city & guilds and JIB approved ticket, therefore Part-P is just a joke and there just to channel money into the pockets of people who dont liike physical work (scheme inspectors & admin). Part- P helps the non-qualified people gain some sort of sub standard recognition with the public. These schemes are plastered all over the place (and all you need to join is the multiple choice 17th edition) and have ruined the electrical industry for the Qualified Sparks imo. Anyway thats my rant over, hope everyone gets through these bad times, even though I believe they will drag on for years.

Cheers Tony

as someone looking to retrain and do my part p in a couple of weeks, this doesnt bode well

There are alot of DI here so dont paint everyone with the same brush as most have paid out £4000-£5000 to get started out so all credit to them in doing things by the book ! the people you should be moaning about are the unqualified cowboys down the pub etc these are the ones undercutting everyone.
