Hi Dave,

Just registered myself too and thinking of going with Access2Trade myself.

What are your experiences of them so far, and how far through the course are you?

hi access are really good. the only thing i will say is that the classes are quite big there was 16 of us in class so u didnt really get that one to one tutoring if you need it. ive got my EAL domestic installer and hopefully get my ecs card soon and now im studying towards the 3rd week for my 17th edition and fundimental testing and inspecting.

Thanks Doddy, that's really useful info :)

Do Access2Trade offer any help with job prospects after the training? This is one of my reservations at the moment, as looking around general jobsites for the Derby/Nottingham area does not seem to yield many results for jobs!

Not meaning to sound negative, but I just need to put my mind at ease that there'll be a good chance of getting work after making a 5.5k investment! What're your experiences of 'putting the feelers out' for prospective interviews? Thanks for your time!

I was told that they start looking for work after you have the EAL and they have redone my cv for me aswell but i havent heared nething yet. Its hard to find work anywhere at the moment. I have sent out loads of cv's to electrical companys and rang them aswell to try and get some experience but noone seems to want to help.
