Help any sky fitters

Hi all

I have just gone head over foot down a set of stairs and I pulled a extension plug apart
it has SKY TV DO NOT UNPLUG
at the far end of the plug is a phone point and a small conection possible data.
at the far end the phone work fine.
at the plug end which plugs into the main phone point there are 2 cores not connected(or have they pulled out???)
does any one know if the phone point at the end of the extension lead are seperate or the unterminated core were like it befor I pulled them

The sky phone lines only uses 1 pair blue (2 cores). Pins 2 and 5 off the top of my head.

cheer I did actualy turn on the router and search for a WIFI network, check all networks and then turn router off and when the customers router turn off a WIFI net work disipeared so I ussume it is good to go

Seeing a wifi network can be done without it being plugged into the phone socket, its a case of seeing the wifi network and is it connected to the internet?

As posted above, only one pair is required.
