hello just doing my first s plan not much experience in central heating controls.the system is a vailiant boiler, vailiant cylinder. 2 x 2 port zone valves, a danfoss 2 channel programmer, and a danfoss electronic room stat. i have just 1st fixed and 2nd fix monday morning.happy with the honeywell s plan download but not sure on the controls programmer cylinder stat and room stat.the programmer n, L, 1offDHW 2off HTG 3on DHW 4 on HTG . DO Ineed terminals 1,2. and what number in the terminal block. ROOMstat is N L 1no 2, 3.nc .i think 2 is not required.can any one give me a idot proof number to number connections.just panicking after 1st fixing.

you dont need 1 & 2 on the programmer for an s plan,3 is dhw on so that supplies the common on the cylinder stat which in turn calls for heat and is connected to the brown of the dhw motorised valve,4 is htg on so that supplies the common on the roomstat which in turn calls for heat and is connected to the brown of the htg motorised valve, when either of these are calling for heat the motorised valve will motor and power the oranges which are connected with the switched live to the boiler to make it fire up,if you have first fixed, when you second fix start at your wiring centre, you will find that once you have connected all your permanent lives, neutrals and earths that you have only got the commons and switched lives left, its not as hard as you think, the browns on the valves need 240v so all you are doing is using your timer, then your stats to control when the browns become live.if your still stuck honeywell do a wiring centre pcb type wchich is well easy to set up,bit if you get one dont forget to cut the right links.
