Im carrying out a PIR, there is a 3 core (what appears to be solid aluminium armoured) cable supplying one of the single phase DB`s. the solid cores are almost triangular in shape, colours of cores are RYB. The csa looks anywhere between 16mm and 25mm/sq.

Any ideas on cable type and so I can find out the ccc.

Aluminium SWA probably. Don't think j the armour will be ally.

Picture would be good, have, or can you get a decent view of the outer PVC sheath, might give you an indication of the size on it.

measure 1 side of the triangle. say, it's 8.0mm. square it =64sq.mm, then halve it = 32sq.mm csa. schoolboy maths. :D:D:D.

it may be imperial so no exact match in millipedes.
Yes but is it a right angled triangular conductor, if so you could use Pythagoras's theorem, crikey must be the Wine I even spelt that lot right, except for spelt maybe.
