Hello so i have decided to change career as i need to do something more hands on and dynamic. I spoke to a few friends in different industries and electrical was always mentioned well. I would do the Level 2 and 3 through ableskills potentially. Though i understand this industry is massively experience based, do you believe this is still a viable route with trying to get the NVG, AM2, Gold ect ect. I would always do different courses throughout to gain as much as i can.

Hi Gezzzzz,

So I too decided that I want a change of career earlier this year. I'm 38 years old. I'm still currently employed in my current industry but go to night school 1 night per week for 8 months whilst working around my shifts and going out with my mate that is a spark as often as poss for hands on experience.
I'm currently on C&G Level 2 and then I will be starting my Level 3 in April next year.

Good Luck
