The electrician who did the wiring should have certified the instalation

The electrician has never done a mobile vehicle (usually just works in houses) and wasn't sure if his qualifications/Certs would cover mobile van? Or if we'd need an auto electrician? Thanks

So he is a domestic Installer then? does the installation does it run from a 230v genset? (Generator)

Someone registered with the NICEIC as an approved contractor could issue a transportable building certificate or report depending if its a new or existing installation. If its a new installation you will be hard pushed to find someone who will be willing to put their name to work they never did.....Another possible way would be to just record the dead testing results and relevant schedule of inspections and note on the cert/report what their doing. Your electrician should of known this to carry out the work in the 1st place?

it'snotdomestic so there's no requirement for part pee and thus no need for scam membership. could always have a EICR done.

Glad we were able to help :)
