Hello,

What insurance do I need other than public liability now that commercial work is being undertaken and these jobs are a lot bigger.

Is there any other insurance I need?

Or will my public liability cover any size job?

Many Thanks

If you’re doing EICR’s you’ll need Professional Indemnity insurance too.

If you’re a scheme member, they should be able to advise too.

Public Liability when I was doing Domestic work was for ÂŁ2Million, now mainly commercial I have increased liability to ÂŁ5million.
I use part-time labour & have Employers Liability for ÂŁ10Million.

Domestic only : ÂŁ10 million cover with "HISCOX" was not as expensive as I imagined and a good company to be with .I never have bothered with tool insurance.
