Hi All!
I am a 38 year old trying to get into the electrical industry as I am a hands on and practical individual!
currently doing a level 2 2365 electrical installation at my local college and enjoying it! but not the science part :confused1:
also working with a local NICEIC Contractor has helped alot with my training.
Hoping to get good advise and info from good Electricians if I am stuck.
Thanks.

seems you have the right way forward. getting the practical experience is where the lack of it causes most to fail.

Welcome top the forums and the Trainee section.
Hopefully the work plan will go well, the science does sink in in the end, but you can start off without it in mind all the time.

Thanks for the advice! The science part of the course has a lot of information which I think would not be needed in the real world but I understand that as a electrician it is good to know as you would get clients that would need to be educated!
