Hi all, how do you check kt64 battery level??

on my fluke 1653 its quite simple. just turn the dial to voltage and select battery test. Also how much do you reckon they are worth??? anyone interested in buying it? (note - not selling on here, will list in sale section if anyone interested)

Thanks.

i wouldnt have a kewtech....
chinese crap...and they have had loads of probs with the rotary dials on em n all...
megger me...

fair do's. i personally thing they nice and simple to use with bright screen. i particularly like the press and turn button, makes testing alot easier then pressing the button on cable with fluke, kewtech shares same feature as well.

only reason im planning to sell is due to buying fluke 1653. everyone at college bought fluke meter so i bought same meter.

anyways back to main question. how do i test battery level?

kewtech nicked the locking button of robin...
yes, its a handy feature when in low ohms....
but i think the instrument is way off the mark myself...
Fluke, Megger, Metrel...
forget the rest...

why dont you just take the batterys out and get some prods on em?

i know i could do that however there must be a feature to simply check battery level.

Also is there a particular voltage the batterys should be? according to my lecturer the battery level should be minimum 7v for fluke 1653 meter.

I used to have one of those, im pretty sure there is no way of checking the battery level, I used to replace them when the readings started getting silly, all I remember about that tester is there was a really complicated way of zeroing out the test leads
