HI All

excuse me while I get to grips with this thing ( forum ) I have only just got a laptop and started on the internet when I came across this a few months ago and then its taken ages to get back to find the site. Looks good though.

I have been in the industry since 1983 started as an apprentice and still no further forward than a general sparky , still its given me a working life and most of it I have enjoyed.

Bye for now.

simple nothing on the telly that I want to watch and I am learning about the internet and how this forum works.

I have looked around at some other exchanges on other subjects and I am surprised and the comments made by people about others on the site.

Still I am told by my kids that the internet is like the street outside my window , full of good and bad , so this the same then??

Bye

Hi Johny

I like your comparison with the street outside your window.

Yep this forums like that but we've got the good the bad and the ugly!!!

Seriously though, in the short time I've been on board I've seen some threads get quite hairy but generally everybody seems to get on ok and things seem to blow over quite quickly.

Look forward to your input

welcome johny99, i don't think theres much banter on here to be honest, just a few pokes here and there, but its how discussion works. 2 people talk, both with different views and they think THEIR right, theres bound to be a bit of banter...
