Hi just found light without earth connected do I need to do anything with it. The case is metal.

The transformer is class 2 (double insulated) so no but I would put a wago on the earth personally, if there isn't a terminal on the metal backing plate, just so it's not out and flapping in the breeze.

The light fitting looks to be intended to be class II double insulated, and not earthed.

However, the way it is installed with the single earth L & N resting on the metal base, does not meet this. Plus the connector cover is missing (unless you'd just not got round to fitting it). Since you'd struggle to get the large-ish size twin & earth into that connector block with basic insulation (the brown & blue) NOT exposed, I'd be more inclined to convert to class I, use Wago connectors, and earth the metal fitting.
